Dr. Seuss Day!

We had so much fun today celebrating Dr. Seuss Day!  The students were able to eat a Dr. Seuss lunch with a special visit from the Cat in the Hat :)

Mrs. Zook's class also ended Dr. Seuss month by reading the excellent story of Bartholemew and the Oobleck by Dr. Seuss.  Then they were able to feel what oobleck was like and write about it in their Dr. Seuss folders.

Tons of fun going on today to celebrate :)  Enjoy the pictures and make sure to ask about some fun stories today from your first graders!

Here is a glimpse into Green Eggs and Ham tasting on Hat Day, Graphing our silly socks on Silly Sock Day, Listing parts of a story while reading the Lorax for Dr. Seuss Month, and dressing up on Book Character Day from last week's Book Week celebration!

Such a great celebration of reading with some of the greatest students around!!
